John Garcia: Yeah, everybody’s got their thing. I mean, we’re not running into the studio to record another record right away. I’ve got to release Garcia Vs Garcia, I’ve got to tour it, I’ve got to work it – I’ve got to work. And Brant just got done recording his record; he just got signed with Napalm over in Europe. He is, I think, close to being done with his record so when the stars align and we all have time to sit down and talk about this and start writing a little bit more... It's something that we've all decided to do, so hopefully we will all stay alive and healthy enough to pull it off. We will see.

As you may guess, KYUSS LIVES ain’t ready to close its new-born chapter soon. And thus, GARCIA VS GARCIA project is a little bit delayed, with so much anticipation buzzing around. But don’t worry, G VS G is still a priority in John’ s life, as it will surely embody the most personal achievement of his whole career. Knowing the man, this first solo album will be a treasure and he will take his time to make it.

In july I paid a visit to my friend in the desert and he gave me the best gift he could : a private listening session and the demo CD of the four GARCIA VS GARCIA songs already recorded as work in progress. AND LEMME TELL YOU HOW AMAZING THEY ARE !!!! I just can’t stop listening to the four of them ; it’s just pure rock’n’roll music, with great feelings, personal vibes and a lot of dedication... This gives such an exciting indication of how this is gonna sound like -and is just a new frustration for us : when could we definitely get our ears on this ? Ah ah ah ! Colossal amounts of patience will one day be rewarded ! And believe me, as he says, this is gonna KICK ASS !!!

Anyway, for the moment there may be plans for KYUSS LIVES to release a LIVE ALBUM after the tour’s ended ! Yes, you’ve well read this : a live album, the first time for us to ever check out live recordings of their thunderous catalogue we’ve magically attended this year on different stages... And this album could end with a surprise : a brand new studio track that could be recorded very soon, giving a first idea of the material they’re currently working on for a NEW STUDIO ALBUM as well !!!!!...

Yes, 2012 will surely see the release of a live AND a studio album full of new songs ! We will obviously tell you more as soon as they go further in the studio and in the making...
