Johnny Solinger (Skid Row) DEP (1965-2021)

No se si muchos de vosotros lo sabeis pero el actual cantante de Skid Row, Johnny Solinger, tiene una carrera musical de Country muy interesante. Yo diria q es mas bien Country Rock y muy en la linea de este foro. Este tio tiene una voz impresionante, ya se que no es Sebastian Bach, y canta ese Country Rock vacilon de puta madre. Os recomiento, de verdad, que escucheis sus discos de Country. Yo llevo toda la semana enganchado a su debut. Este hombre es de Texas y crecio con la musica Country, asi q imagino q para el es algo muy natural. Olvidaos que es el sustituto de Sebastian Bach en Skid Row, olvidaos de los actuales de Skid Row. Id con mente abierta y solo disfrutar de un buen disco de Country Rock.

puede q sea un country rollo mainstream como dices tu pero hay q reconocer q suena muy pero q muy bien

Pues a mí me gustaban (pero sin comparación con la banda original, quede claro) incluso los discos de Skid Row con él, así que igual también puedo disfrutar de estos.

en amazon.es tienes su disco de debut a muy buen precio. Escucha el tema q he puesto mas arriba. Suena muy pero q muy bien

Former SKID ROW singer Johnny Solinger has announced that he is suffering from liver failure.

Solinger, who was a member of SKID ROW from 1999 to 2015, appearing on the "Thickskin" and "Revolutions Per Minute" albums, as well as the "United World Rebellion" and "Rise Of The Damnation Army" EPs, revealed his diagnosis in a social media update earlier today (Saturday, May 8). He wrote: "It is with a heavy heart I must let everyone know what's going on with me and my health. I have been hospitalized for over the last month. I have been diagnosed with liver failure. And prognosis is not so good. As with most musicians I do not have health insurance and it’s very difficult to get proper care without it.

"I am currently under at least seven different medications and I need to have my abdomen drained off fluid that gets accumulated every couple of days. I have lost a lot of strength and will require physical therapy as well.

"At the moment, I am looking into putting together some sort of fundraiser to help with the medical bills and with the palliative care I will need in the coming months. I am kindly asking those of you who could help put this together to step forward. I would not be asking you all this if I didn't really need the help, but sadly this is where I'm at.


"I appreciate and want you all to keep me in your thoughts and send me all the healing vibes you can, but I get exhausted easily so I will ask you to please not call or text unless absolutely necessary. But please, if you can help in this difficult time, I will wholeheartedly appreciate it.

"Love you all. I will post a link where you can donate very soon but I wanted to update you on my condition."

Lo acabo de leer, Johnny Solinger ha fallecido, y estoy muy triste. Soy súper fan de Johnny Solinger desde q le conocí en 2003. Yo abrí este tópico y siempre he dicho q me encantan los discos que Skid Row sacaron con él. Le intenté entrevistar varias veces, sobre todo cuando sacó su ultimo disco de Country, pero nunca pude hacerlo. La verdad es q vas viendo como muchos de los musicos q sigues van falleciendo y es desolador. En este caso, con tan solo 55 años, con una enfermedad jodida de la q no podia ni pagar el tratamiento, pues me entristece aun más.

Joder, 55 años. Era un tío joven. Yo le seguia a través de las redes sociales y parecía un tipo muy divertido. Tenía una mujer muy guapa. Está semana precisamente estuve escuchando su último EP en solitario. Pues eso, que me entristece mucho. DEP

Esta canción, "Texas When I Die" en la q habla q quiere ser enterrado en Texas cuando muera, tiene más sentido q nunca. Que sirva como pequeño homenaje

Lo comentamos en el tópic de Skid Row. En España seguiría vivo. USA es un país enfermo en su núcleo. Ha muerto joven por ser americano. Luego van con el discurso de ser el mejor país y mierdas varias. Y dejan morir a su propia gente, seres humanos que son irrepetibles y podrían seguir disfrutando la vida, y pasar más tiempo con los suyos. Y los dejan morir por pura avaricia. Es horrible. Pobre chico, da una rabia tremenda.
