Pues si, ha sido leeros y otra vez entrar en una nueva fase obsesiva a bas de RUSH. Normalmente dura varios días, ahora mismo suena "Hold your fire" y en posición de espera "Grace under pressure" y es que con estos calores estos discos entren de una manera muy refrescante  

Es de las pocas aseveraciones que uno puede hacer borracho con el movil, y sentirse orgulloso al día siguiente.

Acho,colega... finding my way,anthem y bastille day seguidas y encarando el final del concierto... estos hijosdeputa estaban muy locos... habiendo empezado con 2112... COJONES MUY GORDOS.

Ese es el setlist de anoche Maniac? Si yo les vi en Amsterdam y no tocaron mucho de los 70's!

Donde era el concierto?

Aprovecho también para decir que en ese concierto el Clockwork Angels sonó a gloria con la orquesta que llevaban. Pero sin embargo, el disco en si no me impresiona tanto como a mucha gente.

es que yo creo que geddy lee ya no puede. El set list ese es del concierto que he puesto debajo... de 1980,creo.

A mi no me ha acabado de entrar el clockwork...la verdad.

Igual que el de Amsterdam. Han variado muy poco, a veces cambian Bravado por The Pass, Limelight por The Body Electric o Manhattan Project por Dreamline. Yo quedé encantado con la selección que hicieron.

  

De esos posibles cambios que nos pudieron hacer, eligieron los temas que quería oír...qué de recuerdos viendo el setlist... 

Mirad lo que me ha traído hoy el cartero. El contenido no tiene nada que ver con Rush, pero esos sellos... ¡¡¡ QUE VIVA EL PUTO CANADÁ !!!!!!

Muy chulos los sellos, que subidón recibir eso.

De los setlist, demasiado ochenteros para mi gusto, faltan muchos clásicos de los 70. Disfruté mucho la experiencia Rush en Amsterdam no obstante.

Van a editar directo de esta gira? Por ser la primera vez que les veo, me lo agenciaría seguro, y esta vez en blu-ray, que seguro se lo curran.

No se puede terminar el día de hoy sin subir este topic...hace menos de un mes fue Geddy Lee quien cumplió 60 años y hoy le toca a Alex Lifeson. Especial es el afecto que siento por el rubio por el tremendo detalle que tuvo conmigo en Amstermdam el pasado 2 de junio así que...sumarme a todas las felicitaciones que haya recibido!!

Y este tema va por él!!

  Uno de los más grandes.

Si hace menos de un mes subía el topic para felicitar al señor Lifeson hoy no puedo sino hacer lo mismo para, en este caso, felicitar al MAESTRO: NEIL PEART, quien celebra hoy 61 aniversario.
Siempre lo diré, ver a RUSH fue la mejor experiencia de mi vida, pero ver el momento en el que en un pabellón a oscuras la sombra de Neil Peart se colocaba en su batería jamás se me olvidará.

Sin duda alguna, el más grande. Felicidades Maestro.

Ayer iba en mi habitual sesión de running, escuchando a toda hostia Moving Pictures. Joder, cómo amo a esta banda.

“RUSH: CLOCKWORK ANGELS TOUR” was filmed and recorded last November at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas, during Rush’s highly successful Clockwork Angels Tour. The eleven month-marathon world tour crossed North America twice and ventured overseas to Europe in support of the band’s acclaimed 2012 studio release “CLOCKWORK ANGELS.”

In capturing the tour’s electrifying three hour set, “RUSH: CLOCKWORK ANGELS TOUR” pairs Rush classics (“Tom Sawyer,” “The Spirit Of Radio,” “2112″), with a nod to the 80′s Rush era (The Analog Kid,” “Territories,” “Subdivisions”) alongside newly reworked arrangements specifically for the tour featuring the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble (“Headlong Flight,” “YYZ,” “Red Sector A”). The string section marks the first time the trio has brought additional musicians on the road with them. To showcase their latest studio release, the epic set list also features nine tracks off “CLOCKWORK ANGELS.” Other highlights include tracks rarely performed and never before recorded live (“The Body Electric,” “Middletown Dreams”), in addition to three separate drum solos by the incomparable Neil Peart.

Beyond the incredible live performances, the DVD includes a 25-minute tour documentary titled “Can’t Stop Thinking Big”, featuring interviews with all 3 members, exclusive and behind the scenes footage, and offers a glimpse into the inner workings of the Rush tour machine and insight into the band members themselves. Other special features on the DVD include the trio of hilarious shorts created specifically for the tour as well as interviews and outtakes captured during their filming. Additional filmed sketches and a rare soundcheck performance of perennial favourite “Limelight” round out the exclusive offerings.

Contando los días estoy ya!   

La espera se me va a hacer eterna y no se como voy a acabar pues ya estoy  

se me juntan muchos dvds a comprar en este otoño!!! bufff!!!

Lo que me resulta curioso es que en el bonus que traerá el DVD/BluRay vienen el vídeo que ponían en el cambio de un set a otro y el vídeo que ponían al final pero no el vídeo de inicio del concierto.
Supongo que este vídeo lo pondrán en el DVD propio del concierto antes de que éste empiece.

De todas formas, no es más fácil poner esos vídeos en el DVD del concierto y dejarse de ponerlos como bonus??!! Yo quiero revivir el concierto exactamente cómo fue con sus vídeos en los momentos justos...

Ya sabia yo que seria Dani el que nos diera la buena nueva jeje, muchos recuerdos nos va a traer de ese bolo en el Ziggo Dome de Amsterdam. Este y el de Anathema caen en blu ray.

yo no veo mal que corten esas partes de videos y los pongan aparte. EStá claro que cómo lo vives en directo no se puede capturar en un dvd. Yo sinceramente, en los dvds lo que quiero es que emitan todo el concierto del tirón, sin intercalados.

AHORA SI, ya podemos hablar de disco Pluscuamperfecto pues han eliminado de un plumazo la unica pega que tenia en su edicion original. Ahora Suena sencillamente PERFECTO.
Lo de esta banda es irrepetible, NUNCA dan un paso en falso, todo lo que publican se convierte en acierto total. ¡¡¡ LOS MAS GRANDES !!!!

Parece que ahora se van a pegar un buen descanso merecido. Esperemos que los que no lo hemos visto podamos verlos algún día .... El próximo tour no se me escapan.

Esa es la actitud!! Por mi parte volveré a mover tierra y cielo para que todo vuelva a cuadrar y volver a verles en mínimo una fecha!

Y por amazon también lo veo pero solo en CD...alguien sabe donde se podría pillar en vinilo?? (dejando al margen la página oficial donde los gastos de envío son acojonantes  )

Yo lo he pedido esta tarde en mi tienda de confianza en vinilo por 31 euros.. de holanda.

En amazon lo he visto por 25 dolares, creo.

Pero no le ves la jeta al floro....

y cual era esa? porque Vapor Trails suena igual o mejor que los últimos dos discos de la banda
