Uno de mis favoritos es Fables of the reconstruction que no suele ser de sus discos más reconocidos. Sin embargo Lifes Rich Pageant que sí suele ser el favorito de mucha gente, a mí nunca me ha terminado de entrar demasiado.

A mi en general me gustan todos sus discos, aunque hay dos que no he escuchado por lo negativo de las críticas, pero del resto si creo que su disco 10 es Automatic, aunque me cuesta encontrar uno que baje del 7.

Fables es un discazo con incomprensible mala fama. Creo que ellos mismos hablaron mal en su momento porque la grabación en Londres tuvo que ser de un bajón importante a pesar de poder contar con Joe Boyd.

uno de ellos que no has escuchado será el AROUND THE SUN  , es el menos bueno de ellos pero aun asi tiene 3 o 4 temas buenos.

Si, ya comenté que de Around The Sun y Reveal solo he escuchado los singles, pero me los acabaré pillando, ese afán completista que tenemos algunos melómanos con grupos como REM me acaba pudiendo.

Hombre, totalmente de acuerdo, pero ya puestos te puedes estirar y añadir los dos siguientes (que además, son mis favoritos de ese disco) junto a Maps & Legends: Old Man Kensey (guitarras que preceden a los Nirvana acústicos) y Can't get there from here.

El resto del disco mantiene un buen nivel. Green Grow the rushes, Wendell Gee... Disco con una atmósfera muy especial. Quizás sea más imperfecto que otros pero tiene un no sé qué que me hace considerarlo entre mi top 3.

Uno de mis favoritos es Fables of the reconstruction que no suele ser de sus discos más reconocidos. Sin embargo Lifes Rich Pageant que sí suele ser el favorito de mucha gente, a mí nunca me ha terminado de entrar demasiado.

el Pageant es un discazo en toda regla,creo que es el mejor disco con el mejor comienzo de trio de canciones BEGIN THE BEGIN,THESE DAYS y FALL ON ME.

Creo que cuando ganó la votación en el topic de su mejor disco me lo bajé para echarle un oído, y de primeras no me convenció demasiado. Habrá que darle otra oportunidad.
De todos modos siempre he preferido a los primeros REM que a los más pop de la etapa posterior.

para los no puestos en la discografía de la banda si es su obra maestra para los fans fans no,suele ser Green, o Murmur, para mi New Adventures in Hi-fi

Pues debo tener el carnet de "no puesto en la discografía", porque mis favoritos son: Automatic, Document y Lifes.
