They’re also releasing their entire digital catalog, including two studio albums (We Are the Romans, American Nervoso), an EP (An Anthology of Dead Ends), live album (061502), and a compilation album (Unifying Themes Redux). … and they’ve teased about more to come. As in new, previously unrecorded material. Pretty exciting stuff, right?

On the signing with a classy metal label like Sargent House, Botch has the following to say:

“We’re continuously humbled by the ongoing interest in our band despite the fact that we’ve been broken up for nearly two decades. With the folding of Hydra Head Records in 2020, we were presented with the dilemma of figuring out how to keep the catalog available to both newly initiated and longtime fans. We were lucky to have the support of Sargent House, who are helping keep Botch’s legacy alive by administering the digital catalog, curating the band’s archive of photos and paraphernalia, and getting our records in the ridiculously long queues of vinyl pressing plants. We’re happy to be part of the Sargent House family, excited to have our music back up online, and looking forward to exciting things in 2022.”

 Si es nuevo no entiendo porqué tienen añadir el tema  en la reedición del romans.
Que poco amor por conservar la obra original tal como se concibió.
Ya hicieron algo parecido metiendo un cd con demos y versiones de la misma época pero esto ya es diferente.

Yo es algo que no entiendo, estaba a punto de comprar la reedición y veo que han puesto este tema como el décimo del disco.

The two-minute track features guitarist Dave Knudson playing a typically elastic riff while frontman Dave Verellen growls about “what went down.” Although each of the musicians have played in a variety of styles with other bands, they settle into one of their off-kilter grooves naturally on the track.

Knudson, who played with indie rockers Minus the Bear from Botch’s breakup through 2018, got the idea for the song while writing a solo album. “During Covid, I was writing my debut solo LP, and mentally, I was sick of everything in quarantine,” he wrote in a statement. “Lots of frustration had set in at home, and I figured the best way to deal with it was to write something heavy.
