Noticias Raging Slab

Hey guys, I've been talking with Greg lately. There might be some new stuff coming soon! I have no idea what the plans are for the actual NEW stuff they have been recording lately (which, I am told is approacting box-set quantity-wise).

I don't know how/when any of this stuff will be released, but I do know that Greg's been going through old DAT tapes of unreleased songs from over the years (and am told there's a lot of stuff from when Phil Ondich was drummer [before he left and formed Black Label Society with Zakk Wylde], in the pre-The Dealer sessions, of which "Real Good Time," "The Ballad Of Truly Mae," "That Ain't What I Meant," and "Roadless Rider" actually made the album - though a lot of the same songs were recorded with Phil and then re-recorded with Rob, albeit pretty different sounding).

Some of this stuff is being mixed/remixed and will probably be released on the website where you can buy it with Paypal or Credit Cards or something and download immediately after payment. Nothing is set in stone yet, but I think he is toying with that idea, because record labels, whether major or indie, tend to not be the best option these days.

So yeah, I don't know WHEN any of this is coming but it's being discussed - so hopefully in the next few months you'll have something new to hear - whether it's actually NEW or just previously unreleased or alternate versions of stuff you've already heard remains to be seen!
