HAALE "El Halo Que Rodea la Luna"




Haale es una cantante y compositora Neoyorquina de ascendencia Persa. Su nombre significa "El halo que rodea la Luna". Editó dos EPs en 2007 y un LP en 2008. Ha actuado por todo estados Unidos y Europa, a grabado con Seann Lennon y compartido escenario con artistas legendarios como Hugh Masakela y Odetta.

Su música ha sido comparada, por crítica y aficionados, con la de artístas como Patty Smith, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin ( Kashmir), Radiohead, Jefferson Airplane, Feist, Odetta, PJ Harvey, Queens of the Stone Age. Su música ha sido definida por la crítica Américana como "60s psychedelic rock meets Sufi trancetracks", y es una mezcla exótica y atmosférica de Folk, Rock y Sicodélia mezclado con su herencia Persa.

es Rock actual en la mayoría de los temas, tiene toques de sicodélia y de música Persa ( acústicas, percusión oriental e instrumentos Persas a veces ) pero las guitarras eléctricas siguen roqueando en todo el disco.

Lo de que me encanta la musica sufí es absolutamente cierto... la verdad, la mezcla con el rock hace que se me haga la boca agua.
