Former Fleetwood Mac keyboardist Christine McVie made headlines last month when she said she would like to rejoin the group after a 15-year absence, and now Stevie Nicks has offered her comments on the situation.

"I think she's probably been asked 5 million times to come back to the band," Nicks tells Billboard. "By all of us. By every one one of us. And she has said, in no uncertain terms, 'No. No. Absolutely not. No way.'"

"If Chris wants to come back to the band," Stevie continued, "I said to her, 'It's your band. I don't really think you have to ask. Because it's your band. McVie. Fleetwood Mac-vie? So, it all depends, Chris, on you. How you feel. Do you want to take this on again?'"

Mejor pasa de recopilatorios.

De su primera etapa es muy recomendable "Then play on" y de su etapa americana "fleetwood Mac", "Tusk" y "Rumours"

La primera etapa es legendaria, pero para fans.
La segunda es fabulosa, ni mejor ni peor, y cuando les descubre el gran público. Si no recuerdo mal, RUMOURS fue el primer álbum de un artista rock en vender más de diez millones de copias (puede ser que esté errado, sin por ello ser un equino !).

ojo,no quiero decir que la primera etapa no sea gloriosa,pero en mi opinión existen unas cuantas bandas británicas que hacían un tipo de música muy parecida en calidad y tipologia a la de Green,cosa que no pasó más tarde con B&N,totalmente incomparables........ cyclops

For the first time since one of their founders was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, Fleetwood Mac will return to the stage with a couple of concerts. The band will say goodbye to an eventful 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for a public show tonight and a private date on New Year’s Eve.

Back in October, it was announced that Fleetwood Mac were canceling a November tour of Australia and New Zealand because bassist John McVie would be undergoing cancer treatments. Neither the type of cancer nor the chances of a full recovery have been disclosed, but apparently he’s healthy enough to perform.

Speaking to ABC News Radio, singer Stevie Nicks said that getting back onstage will be “really good for John,” and that it would help him “get back on the treadmill.” Fleetwood Mac also have a third concert scheduled, another private performance in Las Vegas, on Jan. 8.

While the band’s future remains uncertain in the wake of McVie’s health issues, if they are able to continue, it’s possible their next project will be a reunion of their classic lineup. Christine McVie, who quit the band in 1998, said that she enjoyed sitting in with them during the group’s recent stop in London and would be “very delighted” to rejoin if they asked.

pero .. aunque solo fuese para una pequeña gira, y un DVD... o tocar en el ARF o algo así jocolor

Bueno, pues ya que estamos hablando de John McVie, no está de más recordar que este tío, junto con el enormísimo batera (enormísimo de calidad) Mick Fleetwood, formaron una de las bases rítmicas de más CLASE y con más groove del mundo del rock o el pop-rock o del rhytm n blues o de lo que ustedes quieran.
