Totalmente de acuerdo. Yo también las hago a veces, pero insisto en que creo que lo importante es lo que aportan a la hora de conocer música que otra cosa. No dan premios porque nuestros discos favoritos estén en listas.

Es verdad que discos que no reciban ni un voto pueden ser cojonudos, eso es indiscutible.
Yo por ejemplo tengo apuntado desde hace suglos el sf sorrow de los pretty things. Y nunca me lo compro, pero ¿sabes por qué es? ¡Porque a mi no me gusta la psicodelia en realidad! Así que, para qué comprarlo, ¿para hacerme el guay completista?
Eso hice con Cynics, Cramps, etc. Rollo garaje y freak show rockabilly y demás. Cojones, tengo un disco de Stray Cats, dos de Reverend Horton Heat... pero es que al final a mi el garaje y el rockabilly no me gustan. No me voy a comprar un disco de Kim Lenz porque me voy a aburrir como una ostra.
Está claro, llega un día donde conviene dejar al pobre boss descansar y escuchar a Southside Johnny y Graham Parker, pero la opción contraria tampoco me parece tan criminal.
Al final, resulta que tengo que bajar discos al trastero porque no me caben más.
¿Por qué comprar más? ¿Dónde cojones me los meto? ¿Ahí, en los cojones?
Y de guay nada, ayer me enteré que hay un pavo con 22.000 vinilos. Mi colección de casi 3.000 cedés es patética, comparada con la suya.

A mí 3000 discos ya me parce una barbaridad, tampoco es cuestión de almacenar, creo que se trata mas de disfrutar. El de los 22000 discos supongo que se ajusta al tipo de persona que conoce un puñado de bandas pero realmente solo ha profundizado en la tercera parte. Soy de los que continuamente repasan la sección, que disco estas escuchando ahora y seguramente haya un buen numero que desconozco, que sean santo de mi devoción. Pero se trata de continuar disfrutando poco a poco de la música que voy adquiriendo.

A razón de 45 minutos por disco necesitas estar casi 2 años escuchándolos todos sin descanso, ni dormir ni hostias. No los va a oir todos en su puta vida.

Por cierto de este año es mi última compra: Live at Folsom Prison de Johnny Cash.. ¿Qué os parece, merecería estar entre lo mejor de 1968? Espero que sí, que aún no lo escuché y tengo ganas de que me llegue ya.
