A lo largo de la historia de la música los discos inspirados en una ruptura sentimental han producido grandes obras maestras, dolorosos testimonios que logran sacar lo mejor de un artista en plena catarsis. Pero también ha servido de irregular desahogo para músicos que no encuentran su lugar en el mundo, espiritualmente perdidos y en búsqueda de una inspiración esquiva y distante.
