RIP BILLY MILLER (NORTON RECRODS,A-BONES....)
Una mala noticia sin duda
Rip Billy Miller, Norton Records
Dear friends of Norton Records,
Many of you have heard of Norton honcho Billy Miller's recent health challenges. He has asked me to fill you in, as he will not be able to make it to the Allentown Record Fair or the Ponderosa Stomp in New Orleans as planned.
Billy has been dealing with complications from Multiple Myeloma, including kidney failure. He has been in and out of the hospital several times during the past year, and has been on chemotherapy and dialysis since the end of October.
This week, Billy endured an operation to amputate his left leg. This procedure halted the ravaging effects of Charcot, a rare disease of the extremities which can affect long-term diabetics. Billy has had diabetes for forty years. He is now on track to heal from this most recent surgery, and will be on an intensive course to walk again. He will return to chemotherapy for MM within a few weeks. The long range goals are for complete remission and a kidney transplant.
There is no doubt in our hearts that Billy will conquer everything that has come out of left field this year. Rest assured that he will beat all of the beasts that taunt his well being. Never lose your belief in him. Please everyone, stay in touch as we move ahead with Norton operations as always—with our Billy leading the way.
We are thankful for our steady and remarkable cast of characters-- our super staff (Callie Dean, Drew Redmond, and Avi Spivak), the incredible people who make Norton Records look and sound so good—especially Pat Broderick and Tim Warren-- and the disc jockeys and friends who are always here with encouragement and kindness. THANK YOU EVERY ONE!
Stay tuned for happenings at Norton Records as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of our label with Billy--- and for Billy-- awaiting his return to his post at Norton headquarters.
With love and loud music,
Miriam Linna Miller

¿He leído/entendido algo mal?
Un saludo. Marcial Garañón

OK
Los héroes clásicos del r'n'r están en muy mala edad ya (los que quedan).
Temo que no nos queden años mejores por delante, en ese sentido
