Quitando algún temilla, back to the river es cosa fina (al "soso" no le he seguido). Eso sí, TTB me parece que raya por lo menos al nivel, y de hecho este último me parece hasta mejor...

Wheels of Soul 2017 Announcement
Tedeschi Trucks Band is proud to announce the third installment of the band’s Wheels of Soul Summer Tour. This year TTB will be joined on all dates by longtime friends and collaborators The Wood Brothers and Hot Tuna. The tour is scheduled to hit some of the country’s premier outdoor venues on the most ambitious Wheels of Soul tour to date. After four consecutive sold-out shows at Red Rocks for TTB, this year’s tour adds a second night at the illustrious Colorado amphitheater, with special plans in the works to make both nights unique events.
Beginning in 2015, the inaugural Wheels of Soul tour featured Doyle Brahmall II and the late beloved Sharon Jones and her Dap Kings. The collective energy of the tour would often times amass in a 30 person encore of Sly Stones’ “Sing a Simple Song / Higher,” that the Denver Westword called “a wall of talent on stage.” Following 2015’s success, the 2016 tour took the platform to new heights, bringing North Mississippi All-Stars and rock legends Los Lobos on the road. The Oakland Press deemed Wheels of Soul 2016 as “the best musical hang of the season…a celebration of kindred creative spirits,” and few could argue with that. With members of all band’s joining each other’s sets, the 2016 tour took on a traveling festival atmosphere, something few other tours could emulate, and something fans can look forward to in 2017.
Through it all, the annual summer run has become more than just a fan favorite; it has become a highlight for the musicians as well. “It’s been great to develop this tour into an annual event where we get a chance to hit the road and share the stage with fellow musicians we love and respect. Each year we try to find bands that share our musical vision while bringing their own unique talents to this traveling circus,” says Susan about the summer runs. “We go way back with Derek and Susan. They are some of our favorite friends and collaborators” says Oliver Wood of this year’s Wheels of Soul tour. Oliver co-wrote a song on TTB’s Grammy-winning debut album, ‘Revelator’, and Derek and Susan guested on the Wood Brothers 2015 release ‘Paradise’.
Derek adds that this tour offers a unique opportunity for both the musicians and fans, “Every year as the tour rolls along the collaborations between all the musicians grow and grow. It inspires and challenges us in new ways and I think that really translates to the audience when they see how much fun we’re having with our friends.” Jorma Kaukonen of Hot Tuna crossed paths with Derek and Susan early in their careers and their mutual admiration and kinship grew as Jorma supported TTB on select shows in 2016. When asked about joining Wheels of Soul this year Jorma offered excitement and praise, “Tedeschi Trucks is arguably one of the greatest band in the world today. It is an honor for me and my Hot Tuna brothers to be part of this great tour”

Re: TTB - Tedeschi Trucks Band
In September of 2016, Tedeschi Trucks Band set out for the West Coast to make a live album. After 10 shows there was no shortage of great music to choose from, but for everyone on the tour, one night stood out from the rest: September 9 at the Fox Theatre in Oakland. The best part? We had a dozen cameras on hand that night to capture every note.
"Live From The Fox Oakland" is a live double album that David Fricke calls “a new peak in the continuing story of a great American rock & roll family band.” The concert film of the same name features over 90 minutes of performance footage as well as some insightful and downright moving glimpses at life on the road with TTB. Both the album and the film are available on March 17, but you can pre-order your copy now and be automatically entered in a drawing to win two tickets and a meet and greet to any TTB show in 2017, a signed Gibson Derek Trucks Signature SG, plus a $1000 Visa gift card to cover your expenses (whether that’s a flight to Red Rocks or a few rounds at the bar for your TTB friends is up to you).

Re: TTB - Tedeschi Trucks Band
6 sold out shows, 69 different songs, 16,000+ beautiful fans -- thank you to everyone involved for another unforgettable year at The Beacon Theatre!
Since it wouldn't be the Beacon run without guests, we wanted to give special thanks to the musicians who took time out of their schedules to make these performances extra-special for everyone:
John Medeski
The Wood Brothers -- Oliver, Chris and Jano
Jimmy Vivino
Marcus King of The Marcus King Band
Jaimoe
Doyle Bramhall II
Nels Cline
Norah Jones
Luther Dickinson
Trey Anastasio
