Re: Bill Murray

Re: Bill Murray
Estas son las declaraciones, para USA Today. Como dice Apocalypse, Bill está buscando soluciones.
"Bill Murray has acknowledged that his behavior on the set led to a complaint from a woman and the suspension of filming on his latest movie.
The actor and comedian, in his first comments about the shutdown of "Being Mortal," described the incident as a "difference of opinion" but declined to provide specifics on what transpired, or who it involved.
"I did something I thought was funny and it wasn't taken that way," he told CNBC on Saturday during an interview at the annual shareholders meeting for Berkshire Hathaway. "The movie studio wanted to do the right thing so they wanted to check it all out, investigate it and so they stopped the production."
Murray said he and the unnamed woman are talking it through and "trying to make peace with each other." He didn't say when or if production would resume and whether he'd continue to take part in the film.
"We're both professionals," Murray said of the woman. "We like each other's work. We like each other, I think, and if you can't really get along and trust each other, there's no point in going further working together or making a movie as well."
The 71-year-old "Ghostbusters" and "Caddyshack" comedian suggested the changing nature of what's considered appropriate humor was a factor.
"It's been quite an education for me," he said. "The world is different than it was when I was a little kid. What I always thought was funny as a little kid isn't necessarily the same as what's funny now. Things change and the times change so it's important for me to figure it out."
Murray added: "I think it's a sad dog that can't learn anymore. I don't want to be that sad dog and I have no intention of it."
Searchlight Pictures confirmed to USA TODAY that the production was suspended but has so far declined to elaborate, citing the ongoing inquiry. The entertainment website Deadline reports the complaint against Murray was filed earlier this month and production was halted last week.
"Being Mortal" stars Murray, Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer and Aziz Ansari, who is writing, directing and producing the movie.
Production started in Los Angeles in March and the film was slated to be released in theaters next year. The film is based on surgeon and author Dr. Atul Gawande's 2014 non-fiction book on end-of-life care, "Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End."

Hala. Buenas noches.

https://vt.co/entertainment/celebrity/canceled-actor-frank-langella-slams-netflix-after-being-axed-over-allegations-of-unacceptable-behavior
"In the increasing madness that currently pervades our industry, I could not have imagined that the words 'collateral damage' would fall upon my shoulders. They have brought with them a weight I had not expected to bear in the closing decades of my career. And along with it has come an unanticipated sense of grave danger," Langella continued.
Langella then recalls his initial response to his firing, explaining that his "first instinct was to blame. To lash out and seek vengeance".
In every instance of reaching out to people, he claims he was told to: "Apologize. Apologize. Apologize."
Ironically, Langella then described his leading role as Roderick Usher on the limited series as potentially his "last hurrah" as an actor.
He then opened up about one particular scene alongside a female co-star.
"On March 25 of this year, I was performing a love scene with the actress playing my young wife," he recalled. "Both of us were fully clothed. I was sitting on a couch, she was standing in front of me. The director called 'cut'.
"'He touched my leg,' said the actress. 'That was not in the blocking.' She then turned and walked off the set, followed by the director and the intimacy coordinator. I attempted to follow but was asked to 'give her some space.'
"I waited for approximately one hour, and was then told she was not returning to set and we were wrapped."
He then explains that prior to the investigation starting one week later, he spoke to a member of Human Resources about the incident. Despite the movie's intimacy coordinator apparently suggesting to Langella where both actors should place their hands for the scene, the veteran blasted the directions as "absurd".
"It was a love scene on camera," he explained in the open letter. "Legislating the placement of hands, to my mind, is ludicrous. It undermines instinct and spontaneity."
As the lead star on the show, Langella says that it was intention to keep the atmosphere on the set "light and friendly". However, following the investigation into his behavior, he was met with allegations of making an "off-color joke", calling his co-star "baby" or "honey", and giving her a "hug" or "touching her shoulder".
Langella says that the show's producer told him: "You can’t joke. You can’t compliment. You can’t touch. It’s a new order."
