¡Por fin llegó el día de abrir este topic!
Esto significa que tan solo quedan 213 días para comenzar la gira europea de The Eras Tour. El 9 de mayo, Tay saldrá al escenario de La Defense Arena de París en lo que será la primera de sus cuatro actuaciones en ese recinto.
¿Y que mejor manera de hacer más amena la espera que repasando su obra completa? Entretenimiento perfecto para fans incondicionales, padres que acompañarán a sus hijas y quieren enterarse un poco del tema, gente que se acaba de subir al barco de Tay o gente que simplemente quiere empezar a conocerla.

La intención inicial si era explayarme un poco más, pero entre semana no me da literalmente para escribir un texto como me gustaría.
Si saco un rato entre hoy y el finde, igual lo pongo al día, pero entre semana imposible.

También es más difícil inspirarse para escribir sobre sus "peores" temas sin ponerlos a parir de manera gratuita. Con los temas buenos, que empezarán en unos 20 días, me será más fácil.

Según este ranking, sí. Si nos ponemos serios y objetivos, alguno de los tres que he puesto después probablemente sean peores. Como el tema de Lover, que si me dices que lo compuso con 12 años, te creo. Pero lo que condena el tema es esa horrible voz sintética, para colmo, es la suya, que usa al comienzo del tema y en los estribillos. Cantado normal, el tema tampoco hubiese tenido mucha más transcendencia, pero al menos sería más agradable de escuchar.

A los que criticais a Cerpin por vago.......... no entendéis que el ritmo que él ha escogido, a tema por dia, hace imposible en ciertas fechas encontrar la dedicación para explayarse sobre la canción del dia en cuestión..... Lo digo por experiencia, y sin haberme obligado a ritmo diario....
Lo que sí he sugerido a Cerpin es que invierta un poco de tiempo escogiendo el video que acompañe cada tema, ya sea puro audio, lyrics video, official music video o live video...

Dos canciones de Lover, dos de Midnights, una del Reputation, una banda sonora y el single de la película Miss Americana.

Hay uno común y que se irá repitiendo habitualmente en la parte inferior de la lista que son las pullitas tan comunes entre los famosos a día de hoy. Paradójicamente, estos son los temas que acaban siendo más conocidos como la quemadísima Bad Blood que, ya avanzo, que no estará nada bien posicionada en la lista. Este es el caso de Bejeweled, chute de autoestima y pullita a Calvin Harris por no hacerle casito, o This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things, pullita a sus haters, incluyendo la enésima pullita a Kanye West.
Otro pecado común son los experimentos con gaseosa como es el caso de Midnight Rain con ese horrible efecto de voz que hace destacar, para mal, lo que de otra manera hubiese sido un tema bastante genérico o Beautiful Ghosts, un tema intranscendente que únicamente sirve para hacer gala del registro vocal de Tay. Dudo que nadie se acuerde de esta canción, ni de la película.
El último elemento en común de estas canciones viene a ser la revelación de detalles personales al público general. Lo vemos en Only the Young, tema que utiliza Tay para finalmente posicionarse políticamente. Tema flojo y simple que, sorprendentemente, debutó en el top 1 de las listas, y que espero que, al menos, consiguiese movilizar a la juventud y reflexionar sobre el panorama que tienen en su país, porque a nivel compositivo es de lo más básico que ha grabado Tay. Aunque la palma de temas básicos y simples se la lleva la infantil It's Nice to Have a Friend, uno de los muchos rellenos del álbum Lover. Álbum al que pertenece la otra canción que revela detalles personales de esta semana, London Boy, canción homenaje y presentación en sociedad de su pareja de entonces, Joe Alwyn. A pesar del pegadizo y conseguido "They say, "Home is where the heart is" But that's not where mine lives", es otro tema que no cambiará nuestras vidas.

Tema flojo y simple que, sorprendentemente, debutó en el top 1 de las listas, y que espero que, al menos, consiguiese movilizar a la juventud y reflexionar sobre el panorama que tienen en su país, porque a nivel compositivo es de lo más básico que ha grabado Tay.

A mí Midnights me parece que está guapo, pero coincido contigo en que no se en qué coño pensaba con el efecto ese de voz que usa, es horrible
Y Lover, que siempre lo veo bien posicionado, para mí es uno de sus peores discos, quizá junto al primero. Tiene rellenazo para dar y tomar

A ver, habría que matizar peores, pero tal y como tengo la lista ahora mismo, es el tercero por la cola.
La lista cambia de un día para otro. Los temas suben y bajan posiciones, pero ahora mismo, Midnights es el único disco que no tiene ningún tema puntuado por encima de 7. Y lo salva la 3am edition.
Lover y el debut tienen cada uno, ahora mismo, 5 temas por encima de 7. Con lo cual, sería el segundo o tercer peor disco de Tay, pero estoy hablando de un disco que tiene una media de canciones de 7 con algo. Por eso digo que lo de "peor" es muy relativo. Quizás milininino no sea tan generoso como yo con sus puntuaciones.

Uno de los temas inéditos que formó parte del famoso EP que únicamente se llegó a vender en WalMart, pero que luego fue incluído en reediciones del álbum debut. A Tay acaban de romperle el corazón y no sabe a quién amar en este momento. Pero el amar a alguien en todo momento, sentimentalmente hablando, es tan necesario como escribir temas como este. Al lado del Baticano de Bad Bunny, este tema es una poesía sutil de las relaciones íntimas. La verdad es que musicalmente me gusta bastante, sobre todo el estribillo, pero esto no debería desviar la atención del hecho de que, probablemente, se trate de una de las composiciones más banales de Tay.

No hay que ser muy espabilado para darse cuenta de que Tay es un poquito red flag (pero la queremos igualmente) y le honra reconocerlo en canciones como esta donde se lamenta por sabotear su relación con Joe Alwyn. Al margen de las buenas intenciones, es otro de los intranscendentes temas relleno de Lover. Aunque la canción sea de 2019, todavía aguantaron juntos unos años, durante los cuales colaboró en la composición de temas como "Betty", "Exile" o "Coney Island". Casi nada.

Según voy haciendo la lista, hay temas que pienso que deberían haber estado más arriba y otros que deberían haber estado más abajo, como es el caso de este Glitch. Probablemente, el tema más flojo de la hornada que sacó Tay para la edición 3am de Midnights. Y seguimos hablando de Joe Alwyn. Casi podríamos dividir los temas de Tay entre los que hablan de Jake Gyllenhall y los que hablan de Joe Alwyn. El tema de hoy aborda el origen de la relación entre Joe y Tay que surgió como una amistad con derecho que acabó siendo algo más. Al igual que sucede con otros temas mencionados en estas posiciones de la lista, a Tay le suele fallar la inspiración cuando le da por narrar los hechos como tal. Mucho mejor cuando no aborda el tema directamente y va dejando pistas sueltas.
Por cierto, en los foros de Reddit de Tay, hay gente estableciendo el timeline de la relación uniendo todas las pistas que hay en todas las letras. No queréis entrar ahí. Creedme

La verdad es que la mayoría de temas que van apareciendo no me gustan. Algunos ni los había escuchado. Es la parte de la música de Taylor que no me gusta, así que por mi estupendo que estén al final del ránking
